Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking an Art Supervisor to lead conception and design of integrated advertising campaigns. You will manage the creative process and junior staff to ensure all work is strategically and creatively on point.

You will develop designs, layouts, and concepts that strengthen brand awareness across client projects, collaborating with copy and senior staff while mentoring teammates and selling ideas to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts or equivalent field.
• Minimum 6–10 years of creative experience, with at least 4 years in pharmaceutical advertising.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Pharmaceutical or medical device experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to quality.
• Outstanding creative presentation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently conceptualize, develop and design content based on strategic direction.
• Work with senior art staff and copywriters to develop concept and layout for client, in-house, and new business projects.
• Prepare detailed layouts and storyboards.
• Timely turn around on assignments.
• Coordinate with in-house and external teams to complete comps.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines across departments.
• Acquire knowledge of assigned product and category.
• Commit to hours and effort required for advancement.
• Resolve problems and communicate solutions effectively.
• Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Maintain status updates to maximize workflow efficiencies.
• Foster collaboration between creative and other departments.
• Present creative in client meetings as requested.
