Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking an Associate Creative Director to lead and shape creative work across brand communication initiatives. You will collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, and Designers, reporting to the Creative Director, while mentoring junior staff and upholding high creative standards.

In this hands-on role, you will champion creativity internally and externally, work closely with brand teams, and drive effective campaigns that resonate in the healthcare space.

Qualifications

• Experience in a creative role within a recognised healthcare advertising agency.
• Medical Device experience a plus.
• Entrepreneurial spirit in exploring new creative opportunities.
• Ability to shape and improve offerings and ways of working within brand teams.
• Ability to present clear narratives through concept presentations to take clients on a journey.
• Willingness to explore new ways of doing things and develop innovative creative solutions.
• Understanding of multiple communication platforms and design tools (video, web, apps, print).
• Proven mentorship, teamwork and collaboration in recent work; must be proficient in Figma.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative on brands and projects, guiding the creative strategy and delivery.
• Mentor, develop and train junior and mid-weight creatives.
• Present as an authority on current creative thinking and drive agency profile.
• Build strong relationships with brand teams and colleagues to promote value of creativity.
• Support growth of the agency by identifying new business opportunities and participating in pitches.
