Job summary

MSCCN is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to plan and manage inbound/outbound Army equipment movements at an on-site contracted site in Hawaii. You will ensure compliance with DTR, Army policies, and contract requirements while maintaining diligent documentation.

Responsibilities include scheduling, liaison with unit supply and warehouse teams, and approval of transport documents. Strong knowledge of Army systems and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 3–5 years of transportation/logistics coordination experience (Army contractor/military environment preferred).
• Familiarity with Army regulations and systems (TC-AIMS II, GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Proficient in MS Office and able to read Army transportation documents.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage receipt, processing, and shipment of vehicles, equipment, and repair parts.
• Develop and manage shipment schedules to prevent bottlenecks in high-volume ops.
• Interface with unit supply personnel, warehouse teams, drivers and leadership for seamless cargo flow.
• Review and authorize shipping/receiving documents (DA 1348-1A, DD 1149, BOLs, TCMDs, load plans).
• Audit movement data in TC-AIMS II, GCSS-Army, and DPAS for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain shipping/receiving logs and ensure ISO 9001:2015 audit readiness.
• Enforce compliance with DTR 4500.9-R, AR 55-355, AR 710-2, AR 735-5.
• Approve HAZMAT packaging, marking, and labeling prior to shipment.
• Oversee cargo securement and safety per Army, DOT, OSHA requirements.
• Prepare analytical movement status reports for Site Manager and COR.
• Analyze KPIs and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
• Serve as senior point of contact for transportation issues.
