Job summary

Serco is seeking a Strategic Planner to join the GLASS team supporting Army Sustainment Command (ASC) and based in CONUS/OCONUS locations. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and extensive joint-planning experience.

The position involves developing staff estimates, COAs, OPORDs, and sustainment concepts, with duties spanning long-range planning, briefing preparation, and cross-command coordination. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
US Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years, or equivalent combinations as listed.
Graduate of SAMS or JIPOC preferred but not mandatory.
Understanding of JOPP and sustainment concepts; deployment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with staff estimates, COAs, OPORDs, FRAGORDs, and WARNORDs related to COCOMs and AMC plans.
Analyze ASC’s role and mission within the Army and provide long-range planning input.
Develop actionable sustainment concepts and Time Phased Force Deployment Data for mobilization.
Collaborate with AFSB on regional and worldwide plans and assist with briefings.
Maintain ASC plans files and track changing requirements; travel up to 10% may be required.
Prepare detailed analysis and estimates for emerging mission requirements and site surveys.
