Job summary

RK Industries is seeking an Area Superintendent in Denver, CO to lead field operations across multiple projects. You will coordinate resources, drive safety, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You’ll work with Operations, Project Management and General Contractors, building strong field teams while mentoring field leaders and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant construction or field operations experience.
• College or university degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of construction field operations and project execution.
• Proven experience leading multiple projects, teams, and diverse groups.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgets, quality, and safety.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coaching, and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field and shop operations across multiple projects.
• Provide technical direction and practical guidance on scope and execution.
• Partner with Safety Managers to ensure safety compliance.
• Drive projects toward timely, quality completion within budget.
• Collaborate with General Contractors to support scheduling.
• Maintain communication with Operations and Project Management on budgets and quality.
• Lead daily and weekly scope-of-work activities aligned with priorities.
• Monitor subcontractor and major equipment supplier performance and quality.
• Manage a book of business in partnership with Operations Managers.
• Maintain strong relationships with Operations teams and General Contractors.
• Ensure permits, licenses, and inspections are completed and up to date.
• Coordinate with Labor Resources for day-to-day workforce planning.
