Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an Area Reliability Director to provide strategic reliability leadership across multiple corrugated plants. You will collaborate with plant and business leaders to enhance OEE, equipment availability, maintenance effectiveness, and long-term asset health.

Build reliable practices, remove barriers to execution, and develop capabilities for safe, reliable, and sustainable performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related technical field.
CMRP certification or equivalent credential.
Experience in corrugated or paper-based packaging manufacturing.
Track record of improving equipment, processes, and systems beyond OEM standards.

Responsibilities

Safety and compliance: champion a culture of risk identification and full compliance, targeting zero NOVs.
Reliability leadership: provide direction for site reliability and maintenance processes and embed best practices.
Strategic planning: develop one-year and three-year reliability plans to improve availability and reduce losses.
Design for reliability: collaborate with Capital and Project Engineering on lifecycle considerations.
Maintenance optimization: improve preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance and enhance work management.
Performance improvement: use OEE and asset health data to drive sustained results.
Capability building: coach leaders and spread standards and best practices.
