Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Fresno, TX to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance across shifts. You will engage your team during operations to meet delivery promises and customer expectations in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to hit business objectives, while complying with all policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
