Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior Construction Manager on a critical Fab 62 project for Intel in Chandler, AZ. You will manage direct reports and lead interdisciplinary teams to establish construction methods, review plans, and manage costs and constructability.

You will ensure safety, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with clients and subcontractors on a large-scale semiconductor facility. The role is on-site, with opportunities to drive schedules, budgets, and field execution

Qualifications

• Lead and integrate all field professional staff to deliver safe, coordinated construction execution.
• Align civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping activities to area priorities and constraints.
• Own area lookaheads, productivity, and critical path impacts; remove constraints and drive recovery actions.
• Set expectations and ensure QA/QC and HSE requirements across all disciplines.
• Act as primary field interface for superintendents, construction management, engineering, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for jobsite operations including onsite activities of Bechtel, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and their representatives and others as may be assigned within area of responsibility.
• Establishes, coordinates and implements construction schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Controls jobsite expenditures in assigned area for labor, equipment, material and services and ensures field operations are within budget.
• Responsible for overall supervision of personnel in assigned area of responsibility.
• Maintains relationships with the client and their representatives, as assigned.
• Ensures that Bechtel and local/national regulatory safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with in assigned area of responsibility.
• Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings.
• Performs general administrative functions inherent in jobsite supervisory positions.
• Ensures corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented.
• Provides back-up support to the Field Superintendent and/or Field Construction Manager.
