Job summary

SSOE Group in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Senior Project Manager to guide large, multidisciplinary architectural projects from concept to completion.

You will drive project execution, client relationships, team coordination, and financial performance across industrial, advanced technology, commercial, and manufacturing clients. Autonomy in strategy and a focus on lasting partnerships fuel future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent) required/strongly preferred.
• Registration with licensing board preferred.
• PMP Certification required within one year for external applicants; at promotion for internal promotions.
• Ten years of design industry experience with at least five years in project management.
• Ability to manage financial aspects of a project (budgets, fees, cash flow).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-discipline major projects with architecture, engineering and specialist consultants.
• Direct responsibility for timetable and financial success of the project.
• Prepare and update resource planning for architecture production staff.
• Lead fee proposals and client contract negotiations with input from PIC.
• Develop project scope and plan with discipline leads; communicate capabilities to fit project needs.
• Monitor progress, control budgets, and manage project changes.
• Lead client communications and business development activities; present to clients.
• Travel to client sites or other SSOE facilities as required.
