Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, multidisciplinary architectural projects from concept through completion in the Atlanta area. You will drive project execution, client relationships, team coordination, and financial performance, influencing strategy and results across complex endeavors.

The role requires leading diverse teams of architects, engineers, and consultants, managing budgets, proposals, and contracts, and traveling as needed to ensure successful outcomes for

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture preferred
• Registration preferred
• PMP Certification required within one year for external applicants; internal promotions: PMP required at promotion
• Ten years in design industry with five years as Project Manager
• Ability to effectively manage financial aspects of a project

Responsibilities

• Coordinates multi-discipline major projects and oversees discipline job captains
• Directly accountable for timetable and financial success of the project
• Prepares and updates resource planning for architecture production staff
• Prepares fee proposals and negotiates contracts with client
• Establishes project scope of work with discipline leaders
• Monitors progress and enforces control procedures
• Manages project budget and schedule as performance metrics
• Interfaces with regulatory agencies and clients to align requirements
• Leads client communications and participates in business development
• Possibly travels to client sites or other facilities as needed
