Job summary

SSOE Group is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead our architectural practice, guiding large multidisciplinary projects from concept to completion. You will drive project execution, nurture client relationships, coordinate teams, and monitor financial performance.

You will oversee complex interactions among architects, engineers, designers, and consultants for industrial, advanced technology, commercial and manufacturing clients, with autonomy in strategy and a strong focus on growth through

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture preferred or equivalent experience.
• PMP Certification required within one year for external applicants; at time of promotion for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-discipline major projects with architects, engineers, designers and consultants.
• Direct accountability for timetable adherence and financial success of assigned project.
• Prepare and update resource planning for architecture production staff.
• Prepare fee proposals and negotiate contracts with input from PIC.
• Define project scope with discipline captains and department managers.
• Prepare project plans, control procedures and progress monitoring.
• Develop budgets and work schedules to measure progress.
• Estimate out-of-pocket expenses and manage costs.
• Administer project processes including cost estimating, correspondence and document control.
• Contract outside consultants/services as needed and interface with regulators.
• Communicate client requirements across disciplines and coordinate meetings and paper flow.
• Monitor progress, review work and track construction budget costs.
• Review and approve client billings and support business development activities.
• May train or mentor other project managers; may travel for coordination or training purposes.
