Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, multidisciplinary architectural projects from concept through completion. You will drive project strategy, client relationships, team coordination, and financial performance across world-class clients.

The role emphasizes coordinating architects, engineers, designers, and consultants; managing scope, schedule, and budgets; and influencing project outcomes with a strategic mindset. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Architecture preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Registration preferred.
• Internal promotions: PMP Certification required at promotion; External applicants: PMP within one year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates multi-discipline major projects, overseeing all discipline job captains.
• Directly accountable for timetable and financial success of assigned project.
• Prepares and updates resource planning in Vantagepoint for architecture staff.
• Responsible for preparation of fee proposal and contract negotiations with client.
• Establishes project scope of work with Discipline Captains and Managers.
• Prepares the plan, control procedures, and progress monitoring.
• Prepares project budget and work schedule as a progress measuring stick.
• Develops budget for out-of-pocket expenses and manages costs.
• Administers project processes, including cost estimating and document control.
• Contracts for outside consultants and interfaces with regulatory agencies.
• Communicates client requirements to each discipline and coordinates meetings.
• Monitors progress, reviews accomplishments, and tracks construction budget costs.
• Supports client billings and may assist in training other PMs.
