Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead Professional, Architecture in Baltimore, MD / Washington, DC. The role emphasizes leadership in delivering innovative, sustainable design solutions across multiple projects with a hybrid work model.

The successful candidate will coordinate with leadership, clients, and multidisciplinary teams, oversee design development, and ensure QA/QC standards while progressing project delivery from planning through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or closely related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant post-education architectural experience.
• Professional architectural licensure required.
• Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to complex architectural projects through planning, design, and construction phases.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project deliverables, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to delivery of architectural projects from planning through closeout.
• Prepare and oversee design drawings, specs, construction documents, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, consultants, and contractors to implement design solutions.
• Navigate complex challenges while maintaining quality and momentum.
• Conduct site investigations and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
