Job summary

WSP is seeking a Lead Professional, Architecture to join our Transportation Architecture team in Baltimore, MD or Washington, DC, with a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

You will provide high‑level technical leadership for architectural planning, design, restoration, and construction projects across public and private sectors, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, functional design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
• 7–10 years post-education architectural experience.
• Licensed architect with professional licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from planning through construction and closeout.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specs, schedules, and presentations for complex projects.
• Coordinate with owners, consultants, regulators, and contractors to implement design solutions.
• Manage QA/QC and ensure adherence to codes and standards.
• Support business development and client engagement activities.
