Job summary

NVR, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Architectural Technician to join the Architectural Services Department. You will develop detailed construction documents and support BIM workflows using AutoCAD for sales, permitting, and homebuilding projects.

You will collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery while mentored for growth within the organization. This role emphasizes teamwork and innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in architecture/engineering/construction
• Experience with design development and construction documentation
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in drafting or related field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience mentoring junior team members preferred
• Residential homebuilding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed residential construction documents (elevations, foundation, floor plans, sections, layouts)
• Ensure compliance with structure, roof framing, panel fabrication, and building codes
• Research and coordinate information with project team members
• Maintain project schedules and track hours
• Review own work for quality and technical standards
• Collaborate with Homebuilding, Manufacturing, Procurement and other teams as needed
