Job summary

NewGround is seeking a Senior Architectural Specialist to lead the preparation of architectural construction documents and to coordinate with internal design teams and external consultants. This role advances BIM workflows across the studio and ensures detailing aligns with project requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an architectural license (NCARB preferred) with 10+ years in commercial architecture and strong Revit/Speclink/Procore skills.

Qualifications

• Architectural license required and NCARB preferred.
• Multiple state architectural licenses preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience in commercial architecture.
• Familiarity with LEED/WELL credentials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working drawings for projects.
• Coordinate with Design Architect on design decisions.
• Lead client design meetings during appropriate phases.
• Submit drawings for permit and manage the permit process.
• Support BIM implementation and library management.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with project teams.
