Job summary

Kuok Group Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to independently develop detailed architectural outfitting and safety designs complying with Class and Technical specifications. The role includes leading project design drawings, coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines, and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Independently develop and be responsible for detail design of architectural outfitting and safety to comply with Class and Technical specifications.
• Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for design requirement compliance, review and approval.
• Prepare architectural outfitting and lifesaving equipment sourcing technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project design drawings and documents according to the project plan schedule; assume project lead role.
• Prepare compartment layouts, manage space, and coordinate with other engineering specialties.
• Coordinate with Owner and Classification Society for design compliance.
• Prepare weight reports, including weight and center of gravity calculations.
• Communicate with production on on-site troubleshooting and visits as needed.
• Hull outfitting coverage is an advantage.
