Job summary

Kuok Group Singapore seeks a highly capable hull outfitting detail design engineer to independently develop compliant hull outfitting drawings and documentation within project schedules. You will lead design deliverables, review external specifications, and coordinate with owners, classification societies and suppliers to ensure accurate, safe outfitting solutions.

You will create equipment sourcing specifications, maintain weight and CG data, and liaise with production teams to align on-site

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture is required.
Familiarity with CAD and engineering software is essential.
Strong communication and analytical abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

Deliver project hull outfitting detail design per schedule and take on lead role.
Review external designers' specs, arrangements and drawings for compliance.
Coordinate with Owner and Classification Society on design approvals.
Create sourcing specs for cranes, deck machinery and outfitting.
Assess supplier offers from a technical perspective.
Liaise with suppliers/contractors to interpret drawings and specs.
Prepare outfitting drawings (arrangements & detail).
Develop and update weight reports (weight/CG).
Coordinate with detail/production designers and verify outputs.
Communicate with production on on-site troubleshooting as needed.
Safety and architectural outfitting coverage is advantageous.
