Job summary

Kuok Group Singapore is seeking an Engineering Project Electrical Section Lead to oversee all electrical engineering activities for marine/offshore projects. You will provide technical guidance to drafting staff and Engineers, ensuring tasks are completed on time with high accuracy.

You will review specifications, develop drawings, plan cable routing, and coordinate with shipyards and vendors to deliver projects ranging from new buildings to upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering & Electronics.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Electrical newbuilding design in the Marine/Offshore industry.
• Knowledge of Power, Automation and Navigation systems; familiarity with related standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop Equipment Technical Specifications based on Owner's Contractual Requirements, classification bodies, and authorities.
• Prepare engineering drawings of each system (Single line diagram, equipment layout, termination drawing).
• Plan cable routing and build 3D modeling.
• Prepare the Cable Cutting List/Schedule.
• Provide technical support for site-related technical issues.
• Assist Section Project Lead in day-to-day operations.
• Review and advise on the project's design mode & standard.
• Report project daily discipline (Man-hour/Schedule).
• Provide feedback for the professionals' design mode & standard.
• Study and resolve project issues under Electrical responsibility.
• Attend and report in project and section meetings.
• Coordinate with Shipyard/Consultant/Vendor.
• Handle projects: New buildings, repairs, upgrading, conversion.

Job Summary

To provide technical guidance to fellow Draftsman, Senior/ Assistant Engineer for competencies development.

To complete assigned tasks within allocated timeline with high degree of accuracy.

Technical support for site technical issue.

Key Responsibilities
