Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Pursuit Specialist to manage the development and production of marketing submittals for civic buildings nationwide. You will translate client priorities into clear pursuit messaging and collaborate with market sector leaders, business developers and project teams.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, with strong design sense and proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft Office, able to lead large pursuit teams and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.
• A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads a pursuit from initiation through qualifications, proposal, interview, and selection phases, including all submittals whether print or electronic.
• Manage large pursuit teams and high-pressure deadlines with diligence.
• Coordinate with project manager, marketer/business developer, sub consultants and subject matter experts.
• Collaborate with writers and graphic designers to develop content.
• Edit proposal sections and evaluate technical and non-technical content.
• Complete client forms, questionnaires and qualifying statements.
• Gather information on past project experience and develop personnel resumes.
• Maintain accurate pursuit status reports in CRM system.
• Requires a valid US Driver's License.
