Job summary

Flad Architects is seeking a senior project manager to lead complex architectural projects in science, healthcare, and higher education. The role emphasizes client leadership, design excellence, and profitability across multidisciplinary teams.

You will guide project planning, budgeting, and client communications, while developing opportunistic strategies for client growth and maintaining strong relationships with repeat clients. A hybrid work environment is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of architectural experience with at least 5 years of project management in science/tech, higher education, or healthcare.
• Excellent client management and leadership skills.
• Superior technical and presentation skills with a commitment to design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the client and firm for successful execution and leadership of projects, meeting goals, budget, and profitability.
• Lead and motivate the project team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Articulate the client vision through the project work plan during planning and establish schedules and contracts during start-up.
• Develop project fees and contracts during planning and establish budgets and profitability.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budget, meeting design intent and client goals.
• Develop client relationships and pursue business development opportunities by presenting services to potential clients.
• Maintain relationships with key repeat clients to promote future opportunities.
