Job summary

Flad Architects seeks an experienced planning professional to lead healthcare departments within large medical facilities. You will plan, program, and develop spaces in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and guide client meetings to align goals with project work plans.

With a minimum of ten years in healthcare planning and proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD preferred), you will mentor junior staff and travel as needed to client sites. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in planning, programming and developing healthcare departments within large medical facilities.
• Broad experience with inpatient, ambulatory, diagnostic, and academic medical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, program and develop healthcare departments within large, complex medical facilities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver project components on schedule and within budgets.
• Lead needs assessment meetings to prepare functional and space programs and communicate client vision.
• Support production teams to reflect owner goals in project deliverables and answer design questions.
• Mentor less experienced planning team members and travel to client sites as needed.
