Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a licensed Architect to join our Land Development team as Project Manager - Architecture.

The candidate will lead design tasks, marketing, business development, client contact and growth of a team. Requirements include 8+ years of architecture design and project management experience; a bachelor’s degree; an architectural license in the project state and current NCARB record; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and the Microsoft Office suite; and a valid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a five-year college or university.
• Architectural license in respective state and current NCARB record which must be maintained on an ongoing basis.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in architecture design.

Responsibilities

• Consults with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
• Plans layout of project and integrating engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
• Represents client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contract
• Administers construction contracts and conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans
• Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment
• Directs activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents
• Performs final quality assurance/buildability review of project documents
• Signs and seals project documents prepared under his supervision
