Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti's Forensics Practice seeks a Senior Project Director to advance complex forensic investigations, apply advanced architectural concepts, and guide technical direction. You'll mentor staff, lead client-facing engagements, contribute to proposals, and strengthen TT's engineering leadership while solving challenging repair and remediation problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Professional licensure as Architect preferred; candidates actively working toward licensure will be considered.
  • 6+ years of architectural experience, ideally with forensic exposure.
  • Ability to independently develop engineering approaches and troubleshoot novel challenges.

  • Handle complex forensic investigations and develop innovative solutions for repair and remediation.
  • Prepare deliverables that communicate clearly with clients and legal teams.
  • Proactively coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal experts.
  • Contribute to proposals and represent TT’s technical excellence with clients.
  • Mentor earlier-career architects and enhance team technical capabilities.

Your Role

As a Senior Project Director in our Forensics Practice, you’ll independently evaluate, adapt, and apply advanced architectural concepts to challenging forensic problems. You’ll influence technical direction, mentor others, and engage in client‑facing opportunities while contributing to proposals and thought leadership.
