Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Vice President in our Forensics Practice to lead and shape high-impact forensic projects, mentoring teams and guiding technical direction across the firm.

You will partner with clients, influence strategy, and drive growth through proposals and market expansion, leveraging deep expertise in forensic engineering and architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Professional licensure as an Architect.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in architecture, including forensic leadership.
• Recognized expertise and thought leadership in forensic engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision for some of the firm’s most complex forensic projects.
• Serve as the primary client partner and trusted advisor.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, mentoring and developing talent while driving growth.
• Drive proposals, pursue opportunities, and expand the firm’s influence in the market.

Your Role

As a Vice President in our Forensics Practice, you’ll take on a leadership role where your vision, expertise, and strategic insight shape the firm’s most ambitious forensic projects and initiatives. You’ll guide technical direction, mentor teams, and influence firm-wide practices and growth. This is a high‑impact position for an architect to leave a lasting mark on the industry.

What You’ll Do

• Own the technical vision for some of the firm’s most complex forensic projects.

• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and leadership growth across the firm.
• Drive business development and firm growth by leading proposals, pursuing new opportunities, and expanding Thornton Tomasetti’s influence in the market.
• Shape firm strategy through thought leadership, advising senior leadership on emerging trends, new markets, and opportunities to expand services.
• Oversee project financials, schedules, and quality, ensuring outcomes align with firm objectives and client expectations.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Professional licensure as an Architect.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in architecture, including forensic leadership.
• Recognized expertise and thought leadership in forensic engineering, with the ability to influence firm‑wide and industry practices.
• Proven client and business leader, building senior relationships, providing strategic guidance, driving growth, and delivering high‑impact results that create lasting value for clients and the firm.
