Forensics practice investigates problems in the built environment and provides evidence-based solutions founded on rigorous science and physics. We assist attorneys, property managers, building owners, contractors, manufacturers, and design professionals with a wide range of engineering and architectural issues.
As a Senior Structural Engineer in our Forensics Practice, you’ll take on increasingly complex investigations, evaluating distress, diagnosing failures, and shaping remediation strategies across a wide range of structures. You’ll exercise sound judgment in diagnosing issues, proposing solutions, and supporting litigation or insurance claims while guiding junior staff and contributing to multidisciplinary project environments. You will deepen your technical expertise, expand your project responsibilities, and gain direct exposure to clients and project management elements.
The rate for this position generally is $88,000 - $98,000 annually. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by District of Columbia Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee’s pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
