We provide support and opportunities to our employees to achieve their full potential and cultivate a rewarding career.

Forensics practice investigates problems in the built environment and provides evidence-based solutions founded on rigorous science and physics. We assist attorneys, property managers, building owners, contractors, manufacturers, and design professionals with a wide range of engineering and architectural issues.

Your Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer in our Forensics Practice, you’ll take on increasingly complex investigations, evaluating distress, diagnosing failures, and shaping remediation strategies across a wide range of structures. You’ll exercise sound judgment in diagnosing issues, proposing solutions, and supporting litigation or insurance claims while guiding junior staff and contributing to multidisciplinary project environments. You will deepen your technical expertise, expand your project responsibilities, and gain direct exposure to clients and project management elements.

What You’ll Do
  • Take ownership of forensic evaluations, applying advanced engineering principles to non-routine failures and performance issues.
  • Develop and review technical reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support for interns and entry-level engineers, helping them learn best practices and navigate project tasks.
  • Expand your project exposure by observing client interactions, gaining insight into scopes, services, and fee structures, and building a strong professional network within TT and across the industry.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in structural or forensic engineering with growing proficiency in tools such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, RISA‑3D, PCA software, Revit, or AutoCAD.
  • Strong judgment, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to adapt design approaches for non‑routine components while working collaboratively under moderate supervision.
  • Proven communication skills, reliability, and leadership behaviors including authenticity, trust‑building, and effective communication within your sphere of influence.
  • Initiative to mentor junior staff, manage your workload proactively, and continue deepening your expertise in both technical forensic methods and project delivery fundamentals.
