Job summary
American Society of Interior Designers, Inc is seeking a Senior Architectural & Interior Designer to join our NYC-based team. The candidate will bring 4+ years in architectural and interior design for high-end residential projects, with expertise in drafting, construction documents, and interior detailing.
The role requires a strong design sensibility, technical skill, and the ability to translate concepts into detailed drawings, coordinating with the Principal and design team through all
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in both architectural and interior design.
- Strong drafting skills and experience producing construction documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, including 3D modeling and renderings.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, construction documents, floor plans, elevations and technical drawings.
- Develop architectural details, custom millwork, cabinetry, lighting and bespoke elements.
- Lead the production, organization and coordination of AutoCAD drawing sets.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, and consultants throughout construction.
- Assist with site visits, field measurements and construction meetings.
