Job summary

HED is seeking a Senior Architect-Designer IV to lead design efforts in our Mission Critical sector. The role emphasizes collaboration, critical thinking, and mentorship in a hybrid or remote environment, guiding teams from concept through construction on complex data-center projects.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Architecture, licensure, and 10+ years in A/E with strong graphic, BIM, and visualization skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (4-year) degree required.
• Architecture licensure required.
• 10+ years in A/E industry with leadership on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design and sustainability goals for Mission Critical sector.
• Develop concept and implement a design in response to project goals.
• Prepare for code/ordinance implications for projects.
• Create presentations, reports, and 3D representations of ideas and plans.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize generative design tools with Rhino and Revit.
