Job summary

HED is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead Mission Critical data center projects from a hands-on, leadership role. You will guide a diverse team of architects and engineers through design, documentation, and construction administration, ensuring high performance and compliance.

The ideal candidate brings extensive data center experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with clients, developers, and authorities while mentoring staff and delivering on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and licensure required.
• LEED Accredited preferred.
• Minimum fifteen years’ experience in the A/E industry preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of schematic design through project close-out.
• Coordination across all design disciplines is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex, and integrated architecture/engineering projects.
• Engage with clients, developers, authorities, architects, and engineers.
• Oversee project team milestones and deliverables.
• Develop site master planning and entitlements with civil teams.
• Prepare and monitor discipline work plans and specifications.
• Attend project meetings and review bids and documentation.
