Job summary

Hobbs+Black Architects in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an experienced architect to advance complex designs and construction documents on diverse projects. You will lead detailing, coordinate with project teams, present designs to clients, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, people-centered studio with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of related architectural work experience.
• Proficient with Revit to produce detailed documents.
• Strong presentation and client communication skills.
• Experience mentoring and leading junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and oversees construction administration and documentation.
• Serves as primary project contact with clients.
• Develops design presentations and architectural models.
• Participates in business development and client relations.
• Mentors and leads other architects and technicians.
