Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Architect in the United States to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate architectural design through multiple project phases. The role emphasizes Revit proficiency, detailed layout and specifications, and strong client communication to meet code compliance and project timing.

Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Architecture (with a preference for a Master's), and professional registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience and Registered Architect.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit and related tools/processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projects.
• Coordinate work of a multidisciplinary team through multiple project phases.
• Establish owner/client and internal meetings; participate in reviews for code compliance.
• Conduct site work sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule; review documents for conflicts.
• Perform QA/QC and technical reviews; write/edit architectural specifications.
• Coordinate with affected disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders; implement changes.
• Lead projects in a dual management role as needed; provide construction contract administration.
