Job summary

HDR is seeking a Technical Design Associate Principal to lead a multidisciplinary team in architectural projects with a focus on detailing, coordination, and code compliance. The role involves site work, client meetings, and managing project documentation across phases.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Architecture, a Registered Architect license, and 10+ years of experience, with strong Revit proficiency and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and at least 10 years of experience
• Registered Architect or equivalent licensure
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and related tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid knowledge of codes and construction documentation
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across project phases

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projects
• Independently coordinate work of a multidiscipline team through multiple phases
• Establish owner/client meetings and participate in reviews with codes agencies
• Conduct site work sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines
• Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule
• Review documents for conflicts across disciplines and perform QA/QC
• Write and edit architectural specifications and manage changes
• Provide construction contract administration as needed
