Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Technology Architect to shape the sales and marketing technology landscape in the United States. You will define the target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap across CRM, marketing automation, CDP, analytics, and data platforms to enable growth and innovation.

You will partner with product, engineering, security, and data teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions, mentor engineers, and drive modernization across cloud-native and API-first ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture or technology leadership.
• Deep experience architecting enterprise Sales & Marketing technology ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Oracle platforms, including CRM and marketing tech.
• Experience with Sitecore and digital experience platforms and web architectures.
• Expertise in CDP, data management, and personalization strategies.
• Knowledge of AI architecture and trends; able to design integrations across SaaS and cloud.
• Experience leading architecture reviews, governance, and long-term planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for Aon’s Sales & Marketing technology portfolio and define the multi-year roadmap.
• Govern target-state architecture, standards, and best practices across platforms.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams; influence business and technology leaders.
• Drive integrations, vendor assessments, and major transformation initiatives.
