A leading architectural firm is seeking a Senior Project Architect / Senior Technical Designer in Houston, TX. In this role, you'll lead technical development for complex projects and ensure design quality while mentoring junior staff. Your expertise in architecture and design will be crucial in maintaining project standards and guiding teams through various phases. Requirements include a relevant degree and at least 10 years of experience. Eligible for health benefits and a competitive salary, this position requires in-office work three or more days a week.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in architecture, interior architecture, or workplace design.
• Registered Architect or Interior Designer, or actively pursuing registration.
• Active participation in IIDA, AIA, or similar professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the development of construction documents.
• Ensure technical and documentation standards are followed.
• Participate in design development and translate design intent into solutions.
• Direct the project team in producing accurate construction sets.
• Serve as the team's expert on building codes and accessibility.
• Lead construction administration efforts and review submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.
