Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Senior Architect (RA) to provide technical leadership on complex architectural projects, guiding design teams and ensuring compliance with client expectations and building regulations.

The role requires licensure as an Architect (RA), a degree in architecture, and 7–8 years of experience in architectural design across diverse sectors. Flexibly hybrid work arrangements, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect (RA).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 7–8 years of experience in architectural design, including complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed and innovative architectural solutions for complex projects, ensuring designs meet client requirements and codes.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the design process, reviewing drawings, specifications, and documentation for accuracy and quality.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, addressing questions and aligning project goals.
• Oversee integration of building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical) into architectural designs, coordinating with consultants.
• Mentor junior architects and designers, guiding design challenges and project execution.
• Ensure adherence to sustainability standards and certifications (LEED, WELL, as applicable).
• Conduct quality control reviews of design and construction documentation at key milestones.
• Support on-site inspections and construction administration to ensure design intent is realized.
