Job summary

Procon Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Architect/Engineer for a long-term opportunity in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The role demands coordination with clients, design, and construction oversight with strong project management and leadership capabilities.

The successful candidate will have a BA/BS in a construction, architecture, or engineering field with at least 6 years of experience in design and construction for medical facilities, and will oversee multidisciplinary teams to deliver

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in a construction, architecture, or engineering related field is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in both design and construction with a focus on medical facilities.
• Excellent communication with field and office personnel.
• Fluent in project management principles and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clients to define project requirements.
• Reviews schedule and deadlines; aligns work plan with requirements.
• Monitors on-site processes for compliance with drawings, security, and codes.
• Coordinates and monitors activities across all project phases.
• Develops engineering design and prepares plans and specifications for new work and improvements.
• Provides technical oversight across engineering disciplines for project work.
• Leads project staff, including architects, engineers, technicians, and draftsmen.
• Assesses existing conditions and discusses scope with medical center personnel.
