Job summary

AIA Central Valley is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our Education team in Sacramento. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex educational projects and collaborate within a creative environment committed to Diversity and Inclusion.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, has a minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, and is proficient in BIM/Revit and other relevant tools. With a hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits, this position is crafted for those eager to make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years architectural project experience.
  • Licensed Architect in the U.S. (California preferred).
  • Experience with Education projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership across all project phases.
  • Lead complex projects and manage schedules and budgets.
  • Resolve design, technical, and regulatory challenges.
  • Ensure design excellence and quality control.
  • Mentor and develop staff.
  • Partner on staffing and strategic initiatives.
