Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead for a government project in the Washington DC metropolitan area. The position is hybrid, primarily remote with occasional onsite work.

You will lead the architecture team, define scalable solutions, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Required are extensive experience with Natural/ADABAS, Cloud and on-prem environments, and strong customer engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with 15+ years on large scale application design and development.
• Expert in Natural with ADABAS.
• Experience with NaturalONE Eclipse-based development.
• 5+ years project management experience.
• 5+ years defining customer requirements.
• Strong ability to design cross-system solutions.
• Proficient with cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects and developers.
• Assess existing background investigation systems for improvements.
• Capture user requirements with customers and stakeholders.
• Design scalable, compliant solution architectures.
• Collaborate with development teams for implementation.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams.
• Develop and maintain batch jobs (JCL) and data transfers (Connect Direct).
• Utilize IBM MQ for messaging and ServiceNow for workflow.
