Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Lead for Credit and Collections to design and implement scalable applications that align with business goals. The role guides architecture standards, reviews code, coaches engineers, and evolves coding practices to support modernization across the domain.

The architect will span credit decisioning, delinquency management, billing integrations, and data platforms, ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable solutions while driving strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related work experience or advanced degree with 3 years.
• Acceptable study areas include Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4-7 years in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership.
• 4-7 years in enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions.
• 4-7 years experience with enterprise apps, PLM, middle-tier services, databases, storage.
• Experience in Credit, Collections, Billing, Payments, or related domains.
• Solid understanding of the Credit and Collections lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable architecture designs for Credit and Collections platforms.
• Coach engineers and drive architectural design decisions.
• Collaborate with partners to define solution options and justify capabilities.
• Support senior architects with assessments and estimates.
• Maintain architecture roadmaps, solution patterns, and patterns for transformations.
• Build integrations with billing, payments, CRM, and data platforms.
• Ensure solutions meet security, resiliency, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate designs clearly to diverse audiences.
