Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to design, implement, and deploy scalable software, cloud, and identity solutions, collaborating with engineers on architectures using microservices, public cloud, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring, and shaping technology decisions. It impacts operations and customer experience by delivering robust software platforms and efficient infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of related work experience or advanced degree with 5 years.
Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering.
7-10 years Technical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Drive engineering projects to deliver software and infrastructure solutions that meet technical requirements and quality standards
Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and influencing technology and policy decisions across the organization
Evaluate and apply technology strategies that align with business goals and system requirements
Develop innovative architecture and improvements that enhance existing systems and processes
Produce clear technical documentation and architecture descriptions for internal and external stakeholders
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
