Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise workload automation, infrastructure engineering, and solution architecture.
• Strong expertise in BMC Control M Distributed and Control M SaaS (design, deployment, fine-tuning, and operations).
• Deep hands-on experience with enterprise mainframe environments, including z/OS, Sysplex architectures, workload automation, JCL, tape management, output management, and batch processing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of Control-M Distributed, z/OS, and SaaS solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Define and execute migration and conversion strategies from legacy scheduling and workload platforms to the Control-M platform.
• Develop SOPs, automated pre-processors, and repeatable execution paths for concurrent migrations.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions and define solution scope, architecture, and implementation approach.
• Review Statements of Work to ensure feasibility and alignment.
• Provide technical leadership throughout delivery and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Design integration between Control-M and enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems.
• Develop architecture documentation, migration plans, and best practice frameworks.
• Provide architectural governance across multiple engagements and mentor consultants.
