Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering & architecture, with technical leadership at scale.
• Proven senior/principal architect experience defining enterprise architecture across multiple lines of business.
• Hands-on leadership to modernize systems—CI/CD, automated testing, IaC, secure SDLC, AI/automation.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native design, microservices, event-driven and domain-driven design.
• Experience applying enterprise AI capabilities within architecture workflows with data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into scalable platforms with security/auditability.
• Advanced knowledge across disciplines (cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.).
• Experience solving complex architecture problems with delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture strategy for AI-native engineering and agentic AI across SDLC.
• Establish AI-enabled patterns: code generation with constraints and automated conformance testing.
• Define guardrails and governance for AI in engineering: human-in-the-loop approvals and traceability.
• Mentor teams while maintaining hands-on involvement to raise design/implementation quality.
• Lead cloud-native transformation, API-first design, event-driven and domain-driven architectures.
• Apply enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and roadmap development.
• Drive architecture governance with principles, reference architectures, and decision frameworks.
• Drive simplification, reduce technical debt, and accelerate time-to-market.
• Create reuse-first AI-enabled patterns with traceability, resiliency, and security controls.
