Job description

Senior Architect

Join to apply for the Senior Architect role at Career Collective.

Base pay range: $100,000 - $170,000 per year.

We are seeking a Senior Architect for offices in Nashville, TN; Knoxville, TN; and Duluth, GA. Projects will predominantly include public facilities (recreation, community, infrastructure, and civic), residential and commercial projects across the eastern half of the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and review construction of buildings and other structures.
  • Work with clients to understand needs and develop designs that meet those needs, while considering building codes, regulations, and other considerations.
  • Review construction projects and perform inspections to ensure projects are completed to specification.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Architecture.
  • Architectural license in state of practice or current NCARB certification.
  • Completed an internship in a professional office and 8-15 years of professional experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, construction detailing, grading, construction layout materials and common construction document development for commercial and public projects.
  • Ability to coordinate with other design disciplines and skills in client interaction.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and/or other graphics software.
