Job summary

Qualifications

  • Education: Professional Architecture Degree from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Licensed Architect (required).
  • Experience: 15–20 years of licensed experience in architecture; proven track record presenting to clients.
  • Core Competencies: leadership, collaboration, and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

  • Partner with Project Managers to oversee project delivery.
  • Drive conceptual design and technical development on complex projects.

  • Ensure high standards of design, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert-level consultation in planning, design development, and technical strategies.
  • Coordinate with Practice Leaders and Managing Partners on goals and standards.
  • Resolve complex architectural challenges using advanced practices.
  • Mentor emerging professionals and junior architects.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams.

Job Description

The Senior Architect is a highly experienced licensed professional responsible for leading the technical design and execution of the firm’s most complex and high-impact architectural projects. With 15–20 years of experience, this role requires mastery of architectural practice, deep design insight, and leadership capabilities. The Senior Architect serves as a critical resource for client engagement, team mentorship, and technical excellence across all project phases.


What you will be doing


  • Lead and present comprehensive technical and design solutions to clients with confidence and clarity

  • Partner with Project Managers to execute project plans and oversee project delivery

  • Drive conceptual design and technical development on projects of the highest complexity

  • Develop and apply innovative architectural solutions and detailing

  • Conduct planning, design studies, and occupancy analysis

  • Author and review technical specifications, reports, and architectural documentation

  • Ensure all work meets the highest standards of design, quality, and client satisfaction

  • Provide expert-level consultation in project planning, design development, and technical strategies

  • Coordinate with Practice Leaders and Managing Partners to ensure alignment with firm goals and technical standards

  • Resolve complex architectural challenges using advanced practices and novel techniques

  • Serve as a mentor to emerging professionals and less experienced architects

  • Provide technical guidance, feedback, and support to project teams

  • Foster a culture of learning, growth, and professional development

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, engineers, and internal stakeholders


Requirements


  • Education: Professional Architecture Degree from an accredited program

  • Licensure: Licensed Architect (required)

  • Experience

    • 15–20 years of licensed experience in architecture

    • Proven track record in presenting and communicating effectively with clients

    • Demonstrated leadership in technical project delivery and multidisciplinary coordination



  • Core Competencies:

    • Expertise in large, complex architectural projects

    • Advanced understanding of building systems, materials, codes, and detailing

    • Excellent leadership, mentorship, and collaboration skills

    • Ability to drive project outcomes through technical and design leadership
