Overview

A design-driven architecture firm with a strong focus on collaboration and community impact is seeking a Project Architect to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and enjoys leading projects from concept through construction while working across a diverse portfolio of civic, public safety, education, healthcare, commercial, faith, and community-focused work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural projects through all phases, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration
  • Coordinate with internal design teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and high-quality project delivery
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and alignment with project goals, budgets, and schedules
  • Produce and oversee high-quality technical drawings and documentation
  • Mentor and collaborate with junior staff, fostering a supportive and design-focused team culture
  • Participate in quality control reviews to ensure consistency, accuracy, and constructability
  • Support project management efforts, including schedules, consultant coordination, and construction administration tasks
Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
  • 6–10 years of professional architectural experience, with demonstrated project leadership
  • Experience across civic, institutional, or community-oriented projects preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with standard architectural software tools
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and documentation standards
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Licensure preferred but not required
