ArchArch in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Senior Architect to lead complex projects from inception to completion. You will oversee design development, ensure adherence to budget and schedule, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and the project team to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive CAD/BIM proficiency, and a track record of guiding teams through challenging construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of professional architecture experience.
• Professional licensure preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and related design software.
• Strong leadership, communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex architectural projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee design development and ensure goals meet budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for project success.
• Provide technical guidance to junior architects.
• Develop project proposals and budgets.
• Review and approve drawings, specs, and documents.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with designs and codes.
• Identify and resolve design issues during construction.
• Stay updated on industry codes and sustainability practices.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex architectural projects, overseeing design development, and ensuring project goals are met within budget and on time. The Senior Architect will also be expected to mentor and guide junior architects while working closely with the project team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex architectural projects from inception to completion
• Oversee the design development process and ensure that project goals are met within budget and on time
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects
• Develop project proposals and budgets
• Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and other project-related documents
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards
• Identify and resolve design-related issues during the construction phase
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and codes
• Provide input on the development of studio-wide policies and procedures
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in architecture
• Licensed Architect preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus
