The ideal candidate has 5+ years of architectural design experience, expert AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite skills, and strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design, with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
  • Knowledge of US building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities for collaborating with clients, team members, and contractors.

Responsibilities

Job description

Senior Architect

A leading architecture firm in the US is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team on a part-time basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various projects, managing a team of architects and engineers, and ensuring that all designs meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design process from concept development to construction completion
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget
  • Develop project proposals, including timelines, budgets, and resources required
  • Oversee the work of a team of architects and engineers to ensure high-quality design solutions
  • Conduct site visits and meetings with contractors to monitor progress and resolve any issues
  • Review project plans and specifications for accuracy and compliance with building codes
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and new materials/products
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design, with a focus on commercial or residential projects
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software programs
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations in the US
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and contractors
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics

This is a part-time position offering a competitive salary of $1100 per month. The working hours will be flexible based on project needs.
