Jacobs is seeking Senior Archaeologists to provide desktop and field-based cultural resources support across the western United States. The role focuses on NHPA/NEPA compliance for planning, engineering, and construction across government, military, and commercial clients.

You will work with scientists, engineers, project managers, and other staff, leading projects, mentoring staff, and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology.
• 10+ years of professional archaeological fieldwork experience.
• 3–5 years as Principal Investigator.
• Willingness to travel frequently and for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Track and provide updates on discipline-specific topics (regulatory environment, new field methods, internal policies).
• Serve as staff leadership with mentorship and timely feedback.
• Forecast workload and advise on staffing across large, complex projects.
• Manage large cultural resource projects and act as primary client contact for major programs.
