Job summary

ASUS in Fremont, California is seeking a proactive Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee billing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting. You will partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and efficiency in AR operations and serve as a point of escalation for the team.

You will mentor junior members, lead process improvement initiatives, manage key AR metrics (DSO, cash receipts), and support audits and month‑end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 4–6 years of accounts receivable or accounting experience, with 1–2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Experience with collections, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing, payment application, aging tracking, and collections to ensure accurate and timely AR transactions.
• Perform reconciliations, develop AR forecasts, and support month-end close activities.
• Investigate and resolve disputes, chargebacks, and misapplied payments with Sales and other departments.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and lead collection efforts to improve DSO and cash receipts.
• Identify, implement, and standardize AR workflows through process improvements.
• Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly AR reports and maintain AR records.
• Guide junior team members and act as escalation point for AR best practices.
• Support internal and external audits; perform bank reconciliations, write-offs, and intercompany adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer records and foster positive client relationships.
