Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant for a direct-hire, on-site role in Santa Ana, CA. You will own the full AR process, including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, aging, and collections, collaborating across departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Manage full-cycle AR: invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, aging.
• Lead collections by calling past-due customers.
• Research AR discrepancies, payment issues, short pays, disputes.
• Partner with internal teams to drive resolution and improve accuracy.
• 5+ years AR or accounting experience.
• Hands-on collections with direct customer contact.
• Full-cycle AR incl. invoicing, cash, reconciliations, aging management.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience.
• Research discrepancies and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle AR activities including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, aging review, and account maintenance.
• Contact customers regarding past-due balances and drive collections through follow-up.
• Research and resolve short payments, unapplied cash, credits, disputes, and pricing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Review customer accounts, payment terms, and billing requirements to support AR processing.
• Maintain documentation and provide reporting on receivables and collections.
